Our Catherines Plus Sizes Division is currently recruitingfor an Assistant Store Sales Manager. We are looking for high energy, enthusiastic, self-motivated,individuals with a passion for driving results. The Assistant Store Sales Manager is responsiblefor managing the store in the absence of the Store SalesManager. This position also assists in the day-to-day runningof the store which inlcudes directing activities to achieve allstore goals, including sales objectives, customer service, humancapital investment and retention, payroll and operating expenses,loss prevention and merchandise presentation. - Demonstrate leadership in driving sales andprofitability by achieving or exceeding all established store andindividual KPI's ( Key Performance Indicators). - With Store Sales Manager, monitor and develop storeassociate performance. - Assist Store Sales Manager in directing andmaintaining merchandise persentation according to VisualMerchandising standards. - Assist Store Sales Manager in following thecorporate loss prevention strategies and policies. - Manage store in the absence of the Store SalesManager. - Assist Store Sales Manager in training andcommunicating changes in store policies and procedures to team. - Personally demonstrate high level of customerservice. - Assist Store Sales Manager to effectively recruit,hire, train and supervise associates. - Be aware of Company payroll hour allocation forstore, and in the absence of the Store Sales Manager, use the hoursto provide proper floor coverage. - Be knowledgeeable of and able to complete allpayroll procedures. - Demonstrate professionalism when dealing withcustomer and/or associate problems/complaints. - Exhibit sound decision-making skills and performwith a minimum of supervision.
Job Requirements
The successful Assistant Store Sales Manager candidate willpossess the following: -- 2 or more years of retailstore experience. Management experience as an assistatntstore sales manager, deparment manager or keyholderpreferred - Must have demonstrated professional leadership skillsincluding the ability to manage diverse staff members - Strong problem solving skills and the ability tomake good decisions. - The ability to model and develop exceptional customerservice standards and relationships.
