 Overview

Fabulous opportunity to apply financial prowess to our Americas retail business based in New York City. In this dynamic role, you will provide financial insight to ensure Americas' profit plan and investments are designed and monitored to meet established profitability goals. Additionally, you will prepare analysis to support Americas management decision-making and provide continuous improvements to Americas reporting.

Responsibilities

Following are some of the key responsibilities for this position:

 

  • Work with Americas Management, Financial Planning and other divisions to develop the stores' Annual Profit Plan, Mid-Year Review and Strategic Sales Plans as well as the Retail Sales Development and Management Associates Program cost center profit plans.
  • Provide on-going monitoring of the operating performance for the Americas, highlighting any issues / opportunities and providing recommendations to Americas Management.
  • Prepare scheduled and ad-hoc reporting, strategic and other financial analyses to support Americas sales, staffing, operational and development initiatives and incentives.
  • Provide financial data and powerpoint presentation assistance for Board, Senior and Americas Management meetings.
  • Provide continuous improvement to the sales, expenses, staffing, capital and performance metrics reporting for the Americas.
  • Develop investment return analysis for new, renovation and relocation store opportunities and other significant capital investments. 
  • Prepare post-audit analyses of sales, staffing, expenses and capital assumptions for prior years' new, renovation and relocation stores.

 

Job Requirements

  • College degree
  • 5+ years of business experience
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Knowledge of and experience with multi-dimensional database or other computer-based planning system
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with management
  • Strong diplomacy skills and the ability to resolve conflict in a professional manner
  • Sound decision making skills
